·General Information-Newpark Medical&Dental Clinic located in Kilkenny's Newpark Shopping Centre has opened its door at September 2009. Ever since we are committed to provide a caring environment and the best medical expertise through our friendly and highly qualified staff. Our aim is to deliver easily accessible and affordable health care based on best clinical practice. We ensure a high standard of specialist care by treating all those who we serve with compassion and kindness. Our Clinic provides services of Dentist, Oral&Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dental Hygienist, Gynaecologist, Well Woman Clinic and Family Practitioner to both private and Medical Card patients and is supported by the very latest medical technology. Our premises are fully wheelchair accessible. There is also free car park provided for our patients.
· How to register-You may register by presenting at the office or by phone. For dental and Well Woman Clinic appointment: 056-7712743 for GP: 056-7712744.
·How to see the doctor-We ask that you make an appointment for your doctor visit-occasionally this is not possible and we will accommodate patients without appointments where possible, though you may have to wait for a period of time as priority is given to those with appointments except in emergency situations. Our goal is that all urgent cases are seen on the day of your call.
·Confidentiality-We will maintain your confidentiality. Sometimes it is necessary to disclose information to hospital staff, local health and social agencies. This is only done when necessary and any disclosure to outside agencies requires patient permission.
·Payment of fees-Medical Card patients are asked to bring their current medical card at the time of appointment. Patients are reminded it is their responsibility to maintain their medical card up to date at all times. Private patients are expected to settle their accounts at the time of their visit unless otherwise arranged prior to their visit.
·Out Of Hours-Caredoc provides cover outside these hours and can be contacted at 1850-334999.
·Violence and Aggression-We have a zero tolerance approach toward rude and aggressive behavior. If such an incident should occur, it will be brought to your attention and a resolution sought. However if matters cannot be resolved or should the incident be repeated, the offender will be asked to leave the practice.
